There are many reasons for this.
First of all the Croatian coast and its archipelago are undescribably beautiful.
There are many historically interesting towns and small fishing villages as well as numerous bays where sailors can find shelter for the night.
When the wind is getting a bit strong, you can cruise behind the islands to avoid being too heavily rocked by high waves. Due to this the Croatian coast offers a real sailors' paradise.
Last year we cruised the southern part of the coast together with friends and relatives. We visited places such as Dubrovnik, Korcula, Trogir, Split, Primosten and many, many others.
The name of our yacht is Algarina. She is a Turkish-built motorsailer, a so-called gulet.

This year we took a turn up north to the island of Rab and its enchanting town with the same name. On our way we visited several other islands, such as Molat, Silba and Pag.
With us on our trip we were accompanied by two of our good friends, Emil Ems and Per Wijkman.
Both Emil and Per wrote their own story describing how they experienced cruising with Algarina in the Adriatic and all the interesting places that they discovered along the way.
